A Calming Presence

Hello, I am Sation Konchellah, a mental health therapist and Yoga Teacher serving Burlington, Greensboro and surrounding areas.  I specialize in anxiety and stress management, relationship strengthening, work stress and life transitions. As a therapist, I help people who wish they had relief from negative thoughts and worries, relief from work and life stress, and improved relationships.  I call it an honor to help others who are experiencing some of the same struggles with anxiety, depression and overwhelm that I have.  It is my hope that, together, we will find the combination that brings you significant relief and moves you closer and closer to your better.

I enjoy getting to know my clients and more about what their life has been like up to this point.  Through reflection, humor, care and support, we will work toward your goals. During our time together, I will employ various treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful movement, Relaxation Training and other mindfulness based treatments.  I will listen, support, encourage and guide you toward balance and improved coping to finally experience relief  which could look like restful sleep, increased joy, peace of mind and improved relationships. - whatever better looks like for you. It is my hope that you become increasingly hopeful and remember that you have already survived your worst days.

When I am not wearing my therapist hat, I am reading, getting outdoors, practicing yoga, following my favorite shows, and spending time with friends and family.  When you're ready, I’d love to hear your story and help you move toward freedom and relief! A Sense of Serenity

Serenity is a state of being undisturbed, calm, and peaceful. While this sounds like a wonderful state to be in, life may not always allow it. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, it is my goal to help you live your life with as much serenity as possible.

I’m Ingle Reid and I work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, anger, depression, and low self-esteem. I do so with the use of different techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy and Solution- Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). When requested, I also incorporate Christian-based support.

You’ve taken the first step toward the life that you desire by asking for help.  That isn’t always easy, and I hope that you're proud of yourself for arriving here.  It has been my passion to do what I can to help those who are in need. As a therapist I am grateful for the opportunity to do just that. We will collaborate to identify your goals and I will meet you in a non-judgmental, safe space for you to grow and overcome your struggles.

In addition to being a therapist, I enjoy taking long walks on beautiful days, spending time with family and friends and trying out new recipes. I also love reading a good book, catching up on my favorite shows and looking for my next hobby. I would love to help you with your healing journey. You’re only a click away! A Collaborative Connection

I’m glad you’re here! My name is Dorenza and I’m a mental health therapist.  My approach to counseling is one that emphasizes authenticity, and I encourage you to show up as your authentic self too! I understand first-hand that uncovering this can be scary and requires vulnerability, this is something we can work on together. I believe there are different areas in our lives that contribute to our sense of wholeness, and I enjoy helping clients identify areas that are obstacles to achieving a more balanced and fulfilling life. I view therapy as a collaborative effort, and I am here to support you on your path toward healing and growth!

I work with clients who may experience feelings of anxiety and depression, identity concerns, challenges with life transitions, and racial trauma. As your therapist, I value and honor your culture and how you choose to show up in the world. I provide culturally sensitive care that acknowledges your identities and recognizes the role of intersectionality and the need for a safe space to process your concerns. Healing work can be challenging, but you are not alone in your journey! You are deserving of healing. Through my strengths-based approach, paired with humor, and empathy, I look forward to our work together.

Outside of my role of therapist, I enjoy being a plant mom, working on upcycling projects, watching TV, movies, laughing at memes and spending time with my family cat, Momo. Schedule your free consultation today!

You Deserve Comfort

Hi! My name is Raquel Goode. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. I am originally from Greensboro, NC and earned my Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in college counseling from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

My main goal as a therapist is to help people who are experiencing discomfort in their lives or looking to improve their quality of life. I specialize in career, relationships, self-acceptance, stress management, and adjustment to life stress and transitions. Compassion, empathy, and genuineness are my top three values and also integral to my working style. Through collaborative efforts, my main focus is to build a therapeutic relationship with clients while helping them discover their true resiliency in themselves, and later ending this relationship with them feeling empowered and gratified.

There is much excitement about serving as a therapist. Using a non-judgmental lens, I am genuinely interested in and aim to start each journey by learning about your life experiences. I love working with a broad range of clients, though I have a special interest in first-generation, low-income, and minority college students, high school students, and young adults.

I am a mentor to many young adults and cherish my time supporting them in many facets of their lives during my free time. I also enjoy binge watching my favorite shows, , shopping, cooking, and laughing with loved ones.  Contact me today to schedule a consultation!

Genuine Support

I am Dr. Madelyn Harvey, a therapist who specializes in helping individuals cope with some of the challenges they may face living in a complex world. Over the years, I have worked with people from various backgrounds. One of the most important skills I have learned is to be a good listener. By listening attentively and paying close attention to non-verbal behavior, I have been able to develop a level of empathy that ensures clients that I not only hear what is being said, but I can also feel their emotion.

I specialize in helping individuals who may have relationship concerns, unresolved issues from their past or present, trauma, stress, anxiety, and/or mild depression. I believe a collaborative approach to therapy is one that produces better results; whereby the client and therapist work together as a team. I support an integrated, eclectic approach to therapy, which will involve more than one therapeutic model depending on the issues presented. My favorite modalities are:  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and some of the techniques from Gestalt Therapy. The therapeutic methods I use will encourage clients to work on developing new perspectives on their situations, set goals, commit to change, and/or develop coping strategies. It can be so rewarding when a client states that therapy has been helpful and when they are able to demonstrate some of the coping strategies and skills learned during sessions.

Outside of my role as a therapist, I am a member of a choir, I love to drive across the country and visit exotic places. Although I will engage in short walks and ride my stationary bike periodically, my favorite form of exercise is water aerobics. I love to keep busy and believe in taking time to “smell the roses.”  It is my hope that I can help you work towards having a more fulfilling life. If you are ready to talk, I am ready to listen! Mindset Coach

Welcome one and all to a new start in your healing and self-development.

My name is Mirrah Colbert-Grant and I am happy to be considered in supporting you along your transformational journey. I am a therapist and mindset coach whose practice is led with gratitude and openness. My approach pulls from mindfulness and strength-based therapies, where I put focus on improving self-awareness and building self-confidence to reduce unhealthy and harmful behaviors. Our environments have a heavy influence on how we view ourselves, and I believe challenging limiting beliefs with positive and reflective thinking empowers you to transform your present reality.

I work with individuals across the life span who experience depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, disordered eating and self image issues in addition to other mental health challenges. As a former athlete, I am passionate about athletics and specialize in working with athletes ranging from high school to professional levels of competition. I believe physical movement is therapeutic and essential in contributing to one’s holistic health. Meeting clients where they are on their journey, helps to create an environment that they feel safe growing and exploring their traits in. I believe walking your life path will be unfulfilled until you are comfortable walking as your true being.

I love being a therapist, and when I am living outside of my professional role, I am remaining active and grounded with my life’s pleasures, such as: playing basketball and flag-football, working out, writing, cooking, practicing yoga, sun-bathing, and walking in nature. I also enjoy DIY projects and organizing spaces.

I look forward to connecting with and guiding you to your better self.

A Caring Guide

Courage is accepting the challenge of taking a step in the right direction. You’ve just made that step!

I’m Harvey ‘Chip’ Rice, a mental health therapist poised and ready to help you in
your counseling journey. I recognize we all face challenges in life, yet there are times when some challenges are daunting and we’re looking for personalized assistance to help us win. I believe that myself and my colleagues can offer that assistance.

My areas of interests in counseling includes helping Young Adults who are finding their way in life, and Couples looking to navigate the successes and difficulties of their relationships. I also seek to assist members of the Clergy and those needing help and guidance as they serve or participate in various religious settings. I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to treatment with a focus on Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). In other words, I do my best to help us approach every life demand with the right mindset. We all have circumstances that we don’t understand...that’s an inevitable obstacle of life. I believe your circumstances don’t have to dictate your success. There is a positive, relatable, sustainable solution for you that is achievable with the help of therapy.

My personal delights are my wife and two children whom I love. I enjoy sports,
traveling to exotic places, music, and playing cards (Texas Hold’em, Bid Whist, and
